12.7.13 Sweet Baby Viv
My niece is the most adorable little honey pot! What an adventure it was to drop everything and road trip to Utah for her birthday.
11.3.13 A Tuesday on Film
One dog, one baby and one unwilling subject on a Tuesday morning. Kodak Tmax.
4.27.13 Party of Five
Awe! This little guy was the best sleeper…he and his family basically rocked their portraits from beginning to end!
11.18.12 The Miracle Baby
So, my friend has a miracle baby. One of those crazy situations where you can’t wrap your mind around how it can be, but the take away is that sometimes anything is possible. This little guy was a nice deep sleeper, snoozing soundly through set up after set up, sporting hats handmade by Grandma. In my opinion, this is a baby too cute for words.
7.8.12 Baby A!
Oh my, what can I say about Baby A! This was 24Feet’s second newborn shoot. We spent 9 months trying to reign in inspiration and wait patiently…Miss A arrived a wee bit early and it was on! This was a super cooperative baby so we ended up shooting all day and got to try nearly all of the shots on our list. Watching ideas become a reality is a wonderful thing….so is having a painfully cute baby! We are now looking forward to 6 months, one year and hopefully lots of milestones thereafter.
5.13.12 Baby K!
The stars must be aligned…24Feet’s first newborn shoot is blogged on Mother’s Day! This is the newest member of the family, my sister in law’s adorable new baby boy, little K. This shoot was months in the making, collecting props, back drops and hours of test shoots with my cabbage patch doll and my stuffed monkey. All time well spent as this shoot was pretty seamless from start to finish. All 10 hours of it! Yup, we took our sweet time on this one. I really enjoyed spending time with this little guy and would love to do more newborns shoots in the future!
Sometimes you get lucky! I just happened to snap his arm in this position…the facial expression really completes the image!
These macros were shot with my Lensbaby Composer Pro with the macro converter. I clearly needed more light, but in the end, I really like the grainy, moody feel these have.
